To compare the outline sharpness of the prints, a special print pattern containing lines with different widths was used. Color fastness to light was tested according to AATCC Test Method 16E, 20 AATCC fading units (AFU), and the color change evaluated with the AATCC color change gray scale. All K/S values were taken at the λ max of each dyestuff.Ĭolor fastness to washing was tested according to AATCC Test Method 61 (2A) and color fastness to crocking was tested according to AATCC Crockmeter Method 8. 17 For dye penetration, ( K/S) r values were measured on the reverse side of the fabrics. Relative color strength, staining on white ground and dye penetration were determined using the Kubelka–Munk equations ( K/S) f, ( K/S) g and ( K/S) r respectively. The color properties of the printed samples were determined using a Datacolor SF300 spectrophotometer with SLI-Form/NG software (SheLyn, Inc.).
